Reading Naruto
November 14th, 2009 14:13I stopped watching post-timeskip Naruto at something like episode 30, and I only ever read the most interesting bits of the manga. Yesterday I decided I ought to catch up some, and read a couple of manga chapters.
And what do I see? Naruto still goes: 'Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke!' Sakura still goes boo-fucking-hoo all the time. There have been, what, 430 chapters, and they still do the same things they used to do when they were still pre-time skip. Shouldn't there be some character development? At least Naruto doesn't go: 'Ramen, ramen, ramen!' all the time, but that's a small mercy.
What the hell is wrong with these people? They totally have some sort of sick obsession with Sasuke - why can't they just move the fuck on and let him do whatever he wants? The motivations of these characters make no sense to me.
