Let's start with something that is neither anime, nor manga - The Legend of Korra. I randomly watched Episode 3 the other day, and was not too impressed by it. But then I saw these videos about this dude Tahno:

And somebody completely awesome even made a cool song:

So after this I was like, yeah, I might give this series a try... And then I find out the dude

has his powers taken from him and turns into a pathetic wreck of a human being.

I am disappoint and definitely not watching Korra now...

However, something not disappointing: Hunter x Hunter! The manga is so awesome, everyone who has not should go read it now, never mind that it is on an eternal hiatus and will probably never be finished!
